Abstract

The work desripts the quality of the academic lectures in pharmaceutics in the year 1845 in Jena. The notes are taken from the student Heinrich Sänger in a course of lectures from Wackenroder in the middle of the 19th century. Inorganic chemistry was the base of pharmaceutical substances. In the centre were the transcription of the handwritten take notes and the interpretation of the terms, formulas and signs. The course of lectures was well structured and shows the knowledge of its time. Especially analytical subjects are excellent. Wackenroder was teacher and scientist and Jena gave him a good base fore working.
