Abstract

A retrospective analysis of 98 patients with squamous cell carcinomas in the upper aerodigestive tract, who underwent neck dissection was performed. Lymph node regions with metastases detected by histopathological findings were compared with lymph node regions in which ultrasound imaging detected suspect lymph nodes.
