Die Düsseldorfer Kreuzherrenbibliothek – Rekonstruktion, vergleichende Analyse und erste Ergebnisse eines Digitalisierungsprojekts (Projektende April 2022)

Abstract

Der Vortrag beschäftigt sich am Beispiel der Düsseldorfer Kreuzherrenbibliothek mit der Rekonstruktion von Bibliotheken. Ein besonderer Fokus liegt hierbei auf der Unterscheidung zwischen digitalen und virtuellen Bibliotheken. Vorgestellt wird ferner der Workflow des Projekts mit Digitalisierung, Remodellierung und Anreicherung der Metadaten sowie der Visualisierung, die an den speziellen Erfordernissen der Sammlung bzw. des Projekts ausgerichtet wurde.The paper deals with the reconstruction of libraries by using the example of the Kreuzherren-library in Düsseldorf. A special focus is on the distinction between digital and virtual libraries. Furthermore, the workflow of the project is presented with digitization, remodeling and enrichment of the metadata as well as the visualization, which was aligned to the special requirements of the collection or the project.
