Abstract

Single institution retrospective analysis of 18 consecutive patients with relapsed or refractory germ cell tumor treated with a sequential hig-dose chemotherapy with Paclitaxel 225 mg/m², cisplatin 100 mg/m², etoposid 750mg/m² and ifosfamid 10 g/m² (Tax-HD-PEI) and if possible a residual tumor resection was performed. Treatment with sequential Tax-HD-PEI may salvage selected patients with relapsed or refractory germ cell tumor despite poor prognosis features.
