Abstract

Diagnosis of acute appendicitis remains difficult. By using Bayes Theorem, combined with three different internal validation methods, we look after common diagnostic criterias as well as procedural criterias to find out its clinical value. The used Database we looked at had more than 2000 patients incorporated. A special program named "LCHbayes" needed to be programmed. Finally the data was compared with a newly designed Prgramm named "LEXMED".
