Abstract

In this work complexes of several hydrazine derivatives such as hydrazidines (R2N-N=C(R)-NH-NR2) or amidrazones (R2N-N=C(R)-NH-R) are presented. These ligands are capable of stabilizing labile compounds such as aluminum or gallium hydride complexes. The synthesized hydrazidine and amidrazone complexes are potential precursors for MOCVD of group III nitride layers used in modern photoelectrical devices.
