Abstract

The aim of chemo-mechanical root canal preparation is to preserve the affected tooth in the masticatory system in the long term by removing infected tissue and disinfecting it and to preserve the anatomy of the root canal. Modern mechanical single-file systems are now highly valued for this procedure, as their properties make preparation efficient, short and safe. In this study, three such preparation systems are analysed for their straightening tendency when the working size is gradually increased in curved root canals and the influence of the radius of curvature in this context is compared. The F360, Gentlefile and TruNatomy preparation systems are compared.
