Abstract
The present work focuses on the characterization of solid-state batteries (ASSBs). ASSBs
consist of polycrystalline LiNi0.85 Co0.10Mn0.05O2 cathode active material particles, argyro-
dite-based Li5.3PS4.3ClBr0.7 solid electrolyte particles, and an indium-lithium alloy. Two
publications have been produced on this topic, with the first publication focusing on
the investigation of the e!ective ion transport tortuosity εe! within composite cathodes.
The second publication analyzed the solid-state battery and its complex electrochemical
processes at the anode and cathode in more detail.
