Abstract

The role of sentinel node diagnosis in head and neck oncology is still controversial. Against this background the value of sentinel node diagnosis had been analyzed in 153 patients with carcinomas of the upper aerodigestive tract. This study Included Patients diagnosed with this screening method at the University of Marburg - ENT Clinic during the period between April 1998 and April 2007.
