Abstract

Whiplash injury. A clinical prospective study of 200 patients. 53.5% patients have persistent pain after six weeks. The role and prediction of psychosocial factors, e.g. symptom amplification or PTSD is shown. The main conclusion is not to use a cervical collar for therapy anymore.
