Abstract
The study conducted as part of my dissertation is a retrospective analysis
that compared a teriparatide biosimilar (RGB-10) with a reference teriparatide for the treatment of
osteoporosis in postmenopausal women at high risk of fracture. The comparison
showed that both drugs are therapeutically equivalent. Both the teriparatide
biosimilar and the reference teriparatide demonstrated significant improvements in
bone mineral density (BMD) in the lumbar spine, trabecular bone structure (TBS),
and other parameters of bone health, as assessed using various diagnostic
methods
