Abstract
The present work deals with the effect of a special receptive music therapy in combination with visualization exercises and binaural beats on the ocular bloodflow, the intraocular pressure, the visual acuity, the visual field and on the subjective emotions of patients who suffer from open angle glaucoma.
Concerning the complete results, it is remarkable that receptive music therapy is a method that, with comparatively few expenses, achieves very good results.

In addition, the music therapy proved also to be successful, because there were improvements in the visual field as well as in the visual acuity of the patients
