The Synthesis of hydrazides containing the elments aluminium, gallium and indium can be achieved by different synthetic methods, as the elimination of alkanes, lithiumhalides or the reaction of dialkylelementhydrides with hydrazinederivatives. They usually form dimers with different coordination patterns. Those are resulting from steric effects as well as elctrostatic interactions of the momomers.
By treating these compounds under thermolytic conditions it might be seen that, it is possible to transform the elementhydrazides towards the correspondant nitrides.
