Abstract

We suggest that growth factors reqiure an activation to bind to their specific receptors and trigger the biological effects as e.g. neuroprotection.Therefore we developed a cell culture modell with hippocampal neurons of rats to study if the activation depends on reversible phosphorylation or / and ATP binding.
