Abstract
This paper investigates different aspects of post treatment care following malignant tumors of the head and neck. An overall collective consisted of 315 patients. The patient compliance was analyzed for potentially influential factors. Analysis also included, whether or not participation in follow-up treatment regimes was a signifcant survival benefit for patient, especially patients suffering from one or more recurrences.
