The aim of the present study is to find a threshold value for tg, where on
the one hand patients with present verifiable tumor tissue can be found, but on
the other hand the majority of patients who are free of disease are spared
burdensome diagnostics and unnecessary treatment.
Additionally, it was searched for possible risk factors for
false positive and false negative tg values.
