Abstract

This thesis covers the development and evaluation of new Rh-Pyridocarbazolcomplexes and their application as protein kinase inhibitors. A new synthetic route was developed to achieve high yields of the corresponding complexes. Additionally several multidentate ligands were tested and the high stability of these complexes was confirmed. The evaluation of these new Rh-Pyridocarbazolcomplexes was performed using MTS-Assays and KINOMEScan studies. Based on these studies new substitution patterns to address specific kinases selectively were developed and showed new ways to selectively address kinases.
