In this work, the effect of the flavone, 2-phenyl-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one in the HCT 116 colon carcinoma cell line was investigated.
The results of these studies indicate that flavone arrests the cell cycle in the G2 / M phase and exerts a cytotoxic effect on HCT 116 cells.
