Abstract

This thesis contains an analysis of the chemical bond in divalent carbon(0) compounds in comparison to n-heterocyclic carbenes. Investigated are the carbodiphosphoranes, carbodicarbenes, carbon suboxide, tetraaminoallenes and phosphoranylideneketene as well as compounds thereof with lewis-acids of main group elements and transition metal complexes.
