Abstract

This dissertation is about the role of the experimental paradigm and interindividual differences for the interpretation of fMRI results. The first study treats the significance of reliability assessments for specific experimental questions. The second study is about the relevance of interindividual differences in experiments about face pareidolia. The third study combines fMRI with eye-tracking to investigate the influence of gaze on higher-order neural processes.
