Fulicineroside has been isolated from the slime mold fuligo cinerea in the Czech Republic by T. Řezanka et al. in 2005. By means for a total synthesis of Fulicineroside we developed three routes for the Dibenzofurane, the meta-selective borylation route, the bromination route and the formylation route. Furthermore we developed a synthesis for the complete and for a short C2-side chain of Fulicineroside. Even a convergent synthesis of the C7-side chain of Fulicineroside was developed. The finale formylation route was convenient to link the C2- and the C7-side chains with the dibenzofurane to the protected aglycon Fulicinerine. The synthesis of the trisaccharide of Fulicineroside was not part of this dissertation. With the successful synthesis of the protected aglycon the basic for a possible total synthesis of Fulicineroside was settled.
