Abstract
This work covers the preparation of water resistant functional nanofibers based on aqueous formulations. All fibers were prepapred with the electrospinning technique. The water resistance was achieved either by the electrospinning of oppositely charged polyelectrolytes or by the electrospinning of latex disperions. Functionality of the fibers was achieved by the incorporation of functional nanoparticles into the fibers.
