Abstract

The thesis is about 146 patients who where treated because of an intraventicular tumor in the time from 1997 until 2005 in the university hospital of Marburg in the clinic for neurosurgery. We analyzed the data before the operation, after and in a follow up period. We distinguished between the microsurgery and the endoscopic method. The analysis focus was about the quality of life in the follow up period and the Karnofsky performance scale. The data’s analysis was performed retrospective. Both methods have been proven to be well established for the treatment of intraventricular tumors.
