Abstract

The role of the transcription factor NF-kappaB in neuronal death was controversally discussed in the past. We could characterize the factor in neuroprotective pathways. Especially its relationship to the tumorsuppressor p53 and the cotranscriptionfactor p300/CBP could be eluciated.
