Abstract
The main purpose of this dissertation was to synthesise bis(trimethylsilyl)pnictogenides and
dihydrogenpnictogenides and, based on this, to study their reactivity in a variety of areas.
The results of the work are divided into four chapters for a better overview. First, the synthesis
of the dihydrogenpnictogenides is reported and their reactivity is investigated in more detail.
Then, the solid state studies of phosphane, arsane and stibane are summarized. Subsequently,
the results of salt elimination reactions with [(Dipp2NacNac)MCl] systems are reported and
finally, the preparation of LEWIS acid-base adducts starting from compounds of the type
[KPn(SiMe3)2] or [K(18c6)PnH2], as well as related compounds and trialkyl triels is explained
in more detail.
The present work comprises a total of 75 novel compounds, which were characterized in more
detail using X-ray structural analysis, NMR spectroscopy, elemental analysis and infrared
spectroscopy. This list does not include compounds that were synthesized as part of
collaborative projects with other working groups.
