Acculturative Stress in the labor market is caused by racism and lack of acceptance towards a person´s heritage. Is there a difference between the acceptance of employeers with foreign and german origin? And are they treated equally? What kind of experiences with rejections and therefore stress do migrants in Germany deal with and how do they cope with them? This study examines the biographical experiences of high educated migrants of the second generation, who grew up in Germany. The biographical focus covers childhood, youth, school and experiences on the labor market including the coping strategies that are in use in this sample. The results are summarized in a typology of migrant strategies.
