Abstract

ARFI elastography is feasible in evaluating the stiffness of FSL. Lesions’ stiffness was lower than that of the normal splenic parenchyma regardless of FSL etiology. However, differentiation between benign and malignant FSL with the help of this elastographic method appears not possible. Larger prospective studies are needed to validate these findings and their actual statistical significance.
