Abstract

This thesis investigates the Canadian human security agenda (1995-2010) against the backdrop of various institutional forms. Besides a nominalistic account of the human security agenda, the thesis analyses the development of the human security program, the human security network as well as further institutions aimed at including Canadian civil society.
