Abstract

The present work deals with new axially and peripherally functionalized metallophthalocyanines. A main focus lies on phthalocyanines, whose solubility was increased by introducing substituents into the periphery of the macrocycle. In particular titanium(IV)oxo and their imido and N,O-ureato derivatives are focus of the investigation. The latter are intermediates of a discovered metathesis of two isocyanate molecules to carbodiimides and carbon dioxide, which is catalyzed by oxo-titanium(IV)-phthalocyanine. This Thesis also gives a brief insight into the transferability of the introduced chemistry with respect to tungsten, molybdenum and vanadium as metal centers.
