Abstract
In the present dissertation a novel concept for the stoichiometrical functionalization of nanoparticles is described. At low enough initiator concentrations a monofunctionalization of nanoparticles with the initiator functionality is achieved by a free radical polymerization approach.
Afterwards, such stoichiometrical functionalized nanoparticles are used for the formation of novel hybridmaterials.
