Abstract

In the present study the striatal 6-OHDA model of Parkinsons disease was characterized in mice with regard to the time-course of dopaminergic cell loss, dopamine concentrations in the substantia nigra and the striatum, hydroxylation products in substantia nigra and striatum as an indicator of oxidative stress behavioural impairment.
