Abstract

Using with 123-I radioactive labelled GLP-1 and other GLP-1-analoga subcutaneous insulinomas were made visible by scintigraphy in a rat model in this study. The results of the different peptides were compared. In one group of rats the enzymatic degradation of GLP-1 by then DP4 was successfully inhibited. In another group the tumor uptake was competitively inhibited by using unlabelled exendin what is proving the specific binding to the GLP-1-receptor.
