Abstract

It is common, that patients with chronic renal failure also suffer from hypogonadism. Furthermore you can find changes in other laboratory parameters because of the increased creatinine levels or the decreased testosterone levels, which are causing clinical symptoms. In this actual study 116 male patients aged 18 to 87 were examined and an extensive laboratory analysis was made. A significant inverse corrlation between testosteron and creatinine was proved, additionally other significant correlations betwenn testosterone resp. creatinine and other laboratory parameters were shown.
