Abstract
The serine proteases matriptase and kallikrein 7 are involved in a variety of physiological processes. A disturbed activity of these proteases is responsible for a number of diseases.
Therefore, it is of therapeutic interest to be able to regulate the activity of these proteases.
For this purpose, a series of substrate-analogue inhibitors for matriptase and kallikrein 7 have been developed and investigated for their inhibitory potency.
Potent and selective inhibitors were developed for both proteases.
