The Voltage-sensitive phosphatase (VSP) is a voltage-gated phosphatase found in many different species. In this work, I compared the heterologous expression of mammalian VSPs in Xenopus oocytes and attempted to visualize the voltage-dependent conformational change of the voltage-sensing domain using fluorescence changes in voltage-clamp fluorometry (VCF).
