Myths stimulate complex reflections, both in terms of content and terminology. They have engendered multiple scientific concepts and theories. But what do myths look like in practice?
The exhibition explores myths of the South American Yukpa. Four stations show different realms of life in which myths become visible. Visitors can view material objects and photographic snapshots and listen to stories.
At the same time, the exhibition offers insights into current ethnographic practice in the Department of Social- and Cultural Anthropology in Marburg.
