Transcribed audio or video recordings of classroom scenes are widely used in pre-service and in-service teacher education. However, due to time constraints, for example, of a university seminar, these texts usually cannot be analyzed as thoroughly as in a research project. In order to offer a way out, this paper provides details on an accelerated algorithmic approach to working with case vignettes.
