Abstract
This chapter provides an in-depth comparison between the case-specific requirements of the pre- and post-test. Against this background, potential indicators of different proficiency levels of the case-vignettes will be identified and they will be discussed with regard to the international state of research. The article concludes with the descriptions of different diagnostic competence levels.
