understood“, according to the chair of the Association for German Language. This principle
is applicable to „fair“ usage of words at university and during apprenticeship, but less so to
language acquisition at school. Owing to the freedom of speech, but with clarity of
expression.
This principle needs to be complemented with the question of power in the legal context:
personal rights, official ortography, freedom of teaching and institutional autonomy
